Korea ranked seventh in terms of tourists to United States

A tourist source in Washington DC said Tuesday South Korea, along with Brazil, was ranked seventh in terms of the number of tourists visiting the United States last year.
According to the source, 710,000 Koreans travelled to major U.S. tourist destinations such as New York, Los Angeles and Florida.
The source said the Korean tourism figure, however, did not take up a major proportion of the tourist figure of about 50 million.
The source said Canadians were the most frequent visitors at 14.6 million, followed by Mexico, Japan, Britain, Germany, France, Italy and Venezuela.
