The South Korean soccer team won its match with Uzbekistan Thursday night two-to-one, as it gears up for the Asian Cup.

In the match at Seoul World Cup Stadium, Cho Jae-jin fired both South Korean goals in the first half, becoming the star of the game.

Uzbekistan tried to recover in the second half and scored a penalty kick, narrowing the score by one goal but failed turn the game around.

South Korea defeated Iraq three to zero six days ago and will head to Indonesia Saturday to play for the Asian Cup.
