Light Industry, Resource Exchanges Agreed

The two Koreas have set the prices of raw materials for light industry goods worth 80 million dollars to be sent to North Korea this year.

A Seoul official said both sides have agreed on the amount and prices of the raw materials, which the North will use to make 62 light industry items.

They will continue to negotiate the list of industrial materials for 32 more products.

In return, North Korea will give natural resources to South Korea twice this year.

South Korean scientists will also conduct a field survey on several mineral deposits in North Korea from July 28.
