Unification Minister Lee Jae-joung says that the inter-Korean agreement on raw material aid for light industries and joint mineral resources development will prove to be a major turning point in cross-border economic cooperation.

He said the project will help develop both countries' light industries in tandem and called the profit-sharing scheme through mineral resources development a great cooperation model.

Lee also stressed the significance of North Korea's decision to accept the South's pricing system even though the two sides have economic structures that are completely different.
