An international symposium on anti-corruption has opened in Seoul.
During the two-day symposium, participants will evaluate South Korea's online system designed to enhance transparency in government operations.
Over 150 local and foreign officials and experts will exchange information on effective means to prevent corruption in municipal administration.
They will test the Online Procedures Enhancement for Civil Applications developed by the Seoul city government and finalize the system's operating manual.
The symposium is co-sponsored by Seoul city and the United Nations.
Seoul city officials say the user's manual will be translated into six U.N. working languages for distribution to U.N. member states.
