NK Resumes SK Biz Leaders' Visits to Gaesong

North Korea has decided to allow a visit by South Korean businessmen to the inter-Korean Gaesong Industrial Complex.

South Korean Unification Ministry spokesman Kim Nam-sik said that the North’s committee for mananging the industrial complex notified the ministry that it would allow over 160 business leaders to visit Gaesong.

Kim added that the North had canceled this week's visits on Monday, saying only that the decision was on orders from above.

The cancellation affected the planned visits of over a hundred South Korean business leaders on Tuesday and 150 on Wednesday.

The North Korean side did not give any reason for the sudden change of mind.
