Puchon Fantastic Film Festival Kicks Off

The 11th Puchon International Fantastic Film Festival kicked off in Bucheon on Thursday.

This year’s festival, which will last for ten days until July 21st, will feature 215 films from 33 countries under the theme of “Love, Fantasy and Adventure.”

Festival selections are divided into seven sections, including Puchon Choice, World Fantastic Cinema and Special Programs.

Organizers said this year's Puchon Choice competition section will feature a wide array of films from Asia, the Americas and Europe.

Among the festival guests is Japanese director Nagai Go, who created the famous “Mazinger Z” robot animated series.
