A total of 135 soap operas from 32 countries will compete in the Seoul Drama Awards 2007, an annual global competition for television dramas.

In this year’s event, which begins on August 28th, the KBS drama “A Dwarf Launches a Small Ball” will compete with foreign works in the short drama section. The EBS program “Jump Two” will vie for an award in the juvenile category.

The Seoul Drama Awards, which began last year, will be hosted by the Korean Broadcasters Association with sponsorship by the Seoul Metropolitian Government and three Korean broadcasting companies --- KBS, MBC and SBS.
