Twelve foreign trainee-workers with AIDS have been deported since 1994. That's according to a report submitted by the Korea Federation of Small Businesses to the National Assembly.
The report said a total of 923 foreign trainee-workers have been deported as they were found physically unfit for the on-the-job training program.
The on-the-job training program was launched in 19-94 for unskilled workers of developing countries at small and medium-sized companies in the country.
