Video Promoting Tourism Wins Top Award

The state-run Korean Tourism Organization said Wednesday that its video advertisement promoting tourism in Korea has been named the winner of a top award by the Pacific Asia Travel Association.

Entitled “Korea, Sparkling," the five-minute and 30-second promotional film introduces Korea's tourist attractions, food, and other amusements, conveying images of Korean culture through animation.

The Pacific Asia Travel Association annually selects awards in 24 categories within the tourist industry, including marketing, advertisement, and promotional video. The association currently has 78 member countries, all of which are considered annually.
