Japanese prime minister Junichiro Koizumi announced Wednesday that he would disclose his basic foreign policy guidelines during his itinerary to visit four Southeast Asian countries in mid-September.
Koizumi also stated that he would like to meet with heads of states of both South Korea and China whose relations have been worsened due to the controversies rising from the history textbook and the Yasukuni shrine issues.
Koizumi plans to embark on a four nation tour in Southeast Asia beginning September 16th.
