South Korea and Nepal have agreed to launch four passenger flights and three cargo flights a week at bilateral aviation talks in Seoul.
Under the agreement, South Korean airlines will fly the Seoul-Katmandu route via Bangkok and Nepalese airlines on a route via Shanghai.
The countries also made a code-sharing arrangement, which will enable airlines from both countries to share up to 50 seats per flight.
South Korea also plans to hold aviation talks with Iran, Japan and China by the end of next year to cope with an expected increase in air transportation demand during the two thousand two World Cup.
