North Korea says it will dispel doubts about its suspected uranium enrichment program when it reports all of its nuclear programs to the International Atomic Energy Agency in line with the six-party agreement reached February 13th.
South Korea's deputy chief negotiator to a six-party working group on denuclearization said Thursday that the North has several times expressed its willingness to unconditionally reveal everything on its alleged uranium program.
Deputy negotiator Lim Sung-nam said that North Korean negotiators seemed to have studied a lot of professional and technical matters regarding the disablement and reporting of their country's nuclear programs, a key feature of second-phase implementation of the February deal.
Analysts say that the North’s statement that it would dispel doubts on the uranium issue means progress in the nuclear standoff, although Pyongyang has not acknowledged operation of a uranium program.
