President Roh Moo-hyun and North Korean leader Kim Jong-il will likely have sufficient time to exchange views on all agenda items at the upcoming inter-Korean summit later this month in Pyongyang.

A senior South Korean official said Friday that Seoul is trying to secure sufficient dialogue time for the two leaders, possibly more than during the first summit seven years ago.

The official said that considering North Korea's special political environment, the more time the two leaders have, the better the results would be.

In June 2000, then-President Kim Dae-jung visited Pyongyang for 53 hours, spending ten of them with North Korean leader Kim Jong-il.
