North Korea will reportedly extend a ban on vehicle traffic through a gate on its border with China until it completes repairs to a bridge over the Yalu River.

The ban was supposed to last for ten days from August tenth when the North notified China of the decision.

According to a source in the Chinese border city of Dandong, it remains uncertain when the ban will end.

But the unlimited ban on vehicle traffic attests to the seriousness of flood damage in North Korea, given that the reclusive country is in great need of foreign aid.
