Chief U.S. nuclear negotiator Christopher Hill says international nuclear experts will visit North Korea next week to study how Pyongyang's nuclear facilities could be disabled.

Hill announced the plan at a news conference Friday on the sidelines of the Asia-Pacific Economic Cooperation Forum in Sydney, Australia.

A team of nuclear experts from the United States, China and Russia will visit the North from September eleventh through 15th.

Hill said that during their five-day stay in the North, the experts will conduct a site survey and have a look at the North's nuclear reactor.

He said the experts will report back to the next meeting of the six-party nuclear talks set to resume in the fourth week of this month.
