North Korea's only International Olympic Committee member will visit the U.S. along with a North Korean taekwondo delegation.

A U.S.-based online news outlet run by Korean Americans, Minjok Tongshin, reported that the U.S. State Department granted visas to IOC member Chang Ung and 18 North Korean athletes and officials.

Minjok Tongshin said Chang is visiting the U.S. separately from the taekwondo delegation.

The taekwondo team will perform in Los Angeles and the state of Iowa after arriving in San Francisco on October fourth.
