Press Center Opens In Time For Inter-Korean Summit

A center for news media covering the inter-Korean summit has opened in the Lotte Hotel in downtown Seoul.

The center consists of a 400-seat briefing room and a broadcasting center feeding video clips, images and articles from Pyongyang.

The center will operate around the clock until Thursday night at midnight. During that time, more than a thousand reporters from home and abroad will be stationed there.

Meanwhile, Unification Minister Lee Jae-joung is scheduled to hold a news briefing on summit preparations at the news center, five p.m. on Monday.
