S. Korea ranks 3rd in knowledge-based industry in OECD

The Organization for Economic Cooperation and Development says South Korea ranks third among its members in terms of the level of knowledge-based industries.
Sweden topped the list followed by the United States. Finland came in fourth after South Korea.
The findings are in the O-E-C-D's report on the scientific, technological, and industrial developments of its members released on Thursday.
The report said Sweden spent six-point-five percent of its gross domestic product on developing knowledge-based industries in 19-98.
