'Inter-Korean Olympic Squad Still Possible'

The sole North Korean member of the International Olympic Committee (IOC) says that it's still possible for the two Koreas to field a single team for the 2008 Beijing Olympics.

After arriving at Los Angeles International Airport on Thursday evening, local time, IOC member Chang Ung said that it would be possible to do so if both sides have the will.

He said that South and North Korean representatives discussed the issue during the Asian Games in Qatar last December, adding that there would be no major stumbling blocks despite some working-level issues.

Chang is visiting the United States to join a North Korean Taekwondo exhibition team's tour in five U.S. cities including Los Angeles.
