KCNA Reports 6-Party Agreement

North Korea's state-run Korean Central News Agency on Friday reported belatedly about the result of the latest round of the six-party talks on ending Pyongyang's nuclear ambition.

The four-day talks ended on September 30th with an agreement to disable North Korea's nuclear facilities by the end of this year.

The KCNA said North Korea will disable its nuclear facilities by year's end in accordance with the agreement while the United States will remove the North from its list of terror-sponsoring states and the Trading with the Enemy Act.

The news agency also says the latest round of the six-party talks reviewed the implementation of the February 13th agreement on disabling the North's nuclear weapons program and discussed the goals for next steps and duties of the parties involved.
