Some 700 conservatives, including retired generals and members of conservative organizations, on Wednesday will hold a rally in Seoul and issue a statement condemning President Roh Moo-hyun’s remarks that the Northern Limit Line is not an official border.

An official at the Association of Retired Generals and Admirals Monday said that Mr. Roh’s remarks could cause misunderstanding that the president, as the nation’s commander-in-chief, is giving up the territorial rights, calling the NLL remarks misleading and unacceptable.
