Seoul Proposes Mid-Nov. for Inter-Korean PM Talks

The government is eyeing mid-November for inter-Korean prime ministerial talks to be held in Seoul as follow-up to the South-North summit earlier this month.

Seoul proposed to Pyongyang on Friday that the first round of talks be held for three days from November 14th.

According to sources, the government initially sought a four-day meeting starting the 13th but changed the date because of Prime Minister Han Duck-soo's schedule.

Seoul has already suggested preliminary talks with Pyongyang for the high-level meeting.

The South Korean delegation is expected to include the finance, unification, defense and commerce ministers, the vice construction and transportation minister and a deputy director of the National Intelligence Service.
