South and North Korean officials will meet in Gaesong to discuss the inter-Korean prime ministerial talks.

The Unification Ministry told reporters that Pyongyang agreed to Seoul’s proposal to hold preparatory talks on Friday to discuss the agenda, schedule and participants for next month's high-level meeting.

The ministry added the North said it would send a three-member delegation to Gaesong, which would be led by Vice Chairman Jon Jong-su of the North Korean Committee for the Peaceful Reunification of Fatherland.

Vice Unification Minister Lee Kwan-se will lead Seoul's delegation.
