Inter-Korean Defense Talks Eyed for Late Nov.

The government is eyeing a late November date for the second-inter Korean defense chiefs talks to be held in Pyongyang as part of the follow-up to this month's South-North summit.

The talks will discuss military guarantees for inter-Korean projects agreed at the summit.

He said that if the North raises the issue of resetting the Northern Limit Line during the talks, Seoul will urge that the two sides tackle the issue over the long run in a bid to ease military tension.

Before the defense ministers' meeting, the government is also planning separate talks with North Korea on establishing the proposed special West Sea zone for peace and cooperation.
