Koreas Discuss Preparations for PM Talks

South and North Korean officials are meeting in Gaesong to work out details for the inter-Korean prime ministerial talks.

The two sides are focusing on the agenda, schedule and participants for the high-level talks, which Seoul has offered to host from November 14th to 16th.

Before leaving for Gaesong, Vice Unification Minister Lee Kwan-se told reporters that his delegation will do its utmost to smoothly implement the inter-Korean summit agreement to hold prime minister-level talks.

But another Unification Ministry official said it's unclear whether the two sides will be able to agree on all details for the mid-November meeting.

Seoul will send a three-member delegation to Gaesong led by the vice unification minister. The North Korean delegation will be headed by Vice Chairman Jon Jong-su of the North Korean Committee for the Peaceful Reunification of Fatherland.
