Officials and experts will visit North Korea on Saturday to check the distribution of Seoul’s rice aid to the North.

The Unification Ministry in Seoul said Friday that the delegation will visit food stations at three sites in the northeastern city of Hamheung on Saturday and two sites in the southwestern city of Haeju on Tuesday.

It will be the second visit after the team's first on-field inspections in Gaesong and Gosong on October 16th.

At the inter-Korean economic cooperation committee meeting in April, the two Koreas agreed that Seoul would provide 400-thousand tons in rice aid to Pyongyang, with field inspections for each 100-thousand-ton shipment.
