Two Koreas Open PM Talks in Seoul

The two Koreas open the first round of prime ministers' talks on Wednesday, as agreed upon last month at the second inter-Korean summit.

The three-day meeting in Seoul will cover the points of agreement struck during the summit talks.

The seven-member North Korean delegation will arrive at Gimpo Airport Wednesday morning and head to the talks' venue.

The two sides will meet in the afternoon and explain their positions. The North Korean delegation will then attend a dinner hosted by South Korean Prime Minister Han Duck-soo.

The South and North are scheduled to meet again Thursday morning and then tour industrial sites before wrapping up the talks Friday morning.

The two sides held three rounds of preliminary talks in which they decided to focus on establishing a peace and cooperation zone in the West Sea, the repairing of railways and roads, and improving the Gaesong Industrial Complex.
