‘Inter-Korean PM Talks to Focus on Political Issues’

A pro-Pyongyang newspaper in Japan says the two Koreas will discuss political issues related to last month's inter-Korean summit declaration in their ongoing prime ministers’ talks.

The Choson Sinbo says that includes commemorating the joint declaration of June 15th, 2000, non-interference with internal affairs and regulatory reforms.

Meanwhile, it reported that North Korean Premier Kim Yong-il called upon the two Koreas in his keynote speech to move forward together regardless of domestic and international hindrances.

The paper went on to say that the prime ministers’ talks could also cover the establishment of consultation bodies to launch inter-Korean business projects as stipulated in October's joint declaration.
