NK Delegation in US for Financial Working-group Talks

A North Korean delegation has arrived in New York for financial working group talks with the U.S.

The six-member North Korean delegation attended a seminar on U.S. foreign policy Friday morning. Former U.S. Secretary of State Henry Kissinger also joined the seminar.

Opening on Monday, the two-day financial working group talks will cover issues including the North’s alleged money laundering and forgery of U.S. dollars.

The North will ask the U.S. to lift financial sanctions on the communist state and help it join the international financial system.
