A pro-North Korean newspaper in Japan says the two Koreas have begun implementing last month's inter-Korean summit declaration with the adoption of a joint statement by their prime ministers on Friday.

The Choson Sinbo said Friday the two sides have paved the way for successful implementation of the summit declaration issued in Pyongyang in October.

It added that the talks were held in a very friendly atmosphere from the beginning and produced positive results.
