‘Six-Party Negotiators to Meet Next Month’

Top negotiators for the six-party nuclear talks are likely to meet next month to discuss North Korea's nuclear disablement and corresponding measures to be taken in return.

Foreign Minister Song Min-soon told reporters Tuesday that the top negotiators would gather in early or mid-December to check on the North's disablement process.

However, Song said that North Korea has not yet declared its nuclear facilities and materials to the other parties.

Once Pyongyang submits its report in accordance with a six-party agreement reached last month, verification procedures will follow.

On the possibility that top U.S. nuclear negotiator Christopher Hill would visit the North, the minister noted that there are no such plans yet.
