Koreas Hold 3 Inter-Korean Talks Concurrently

The two Koreas continue to hold cross-border meetings following last month's summit in Pyongyang.

The two sides will hold the ninth inter-Korean Red Cross talks at the North’s Mount Geumgang resort for three days from Wednesday.

They will also open working-level talks in Gaesong for two days to discuss details on repairing North Korean railways as agreed upon at the summit.

The second inter-Korean defense ministers’ talks are also under way in Pyongyang.

A Unification Ministry official said Tuesday it's the first time that three inter-Korean meetings have been held at the same time, which he said reflects recent progress in cross-border relations.
