President Roh Moo-hyun is expected to meet with a senior North Korean official in charge of inter-Korean affairs who will visit Seoul Thursday to discuss ways to implement last month's summit accords.

A presidential aide said Wednesday that a meeting between Mr. Roh and Kim Yang-gon, director of the United Front Department of the North's ruling Workers' Party, is highly likely on Saturday.

Cheong Wa Dae Spokesman Cheon Ho-seon said that while a courtesy call by Kim has not been decided on yet, it is possible depending on the president's schedule.
