An international team of officials and nuclear experts arrived in Beijing after a three-day visit to North Korea to monitor its nuclear disablement process.

U.S. State Department official Sung Kim arrived in the Chinese capital from Pyongyang on Thursday, along with delegates from China and Japan.

The team began inspections at three major facilities on Tuesday: a five megawatt nuclear reactor, a radiochemical lab and a fuel rod fabrication plant. They also held talks with Pyongyang officials.

Under the terms of a six-party agreement reached in October, North Korea is expected to complete disablement by year's end.
