Koreas to Discuss Economic Cooperation Projects

The two Koreas will meet in Seoul Tuesday to discuss ways to implement economic cooperation projects agreed upon the inter-Korean summit in October.

For the next three days, the two sides will hold discussions on six areas of economic cooperation, including the Gaesong Industrial Complex and regular cross-border cargo railway service, as well as shipbuilding and marine transportation.

Seven officials from each side will take part in the talks, with Deputy Prime Minister and Finance Minister Kwon O-kyu leading South Korea’s delegation.
