Tours to North Korea’s border city of Gaesong will begin Wednesday.

Hyundai Asan, the operator of the tour program, said some three-hundred-60 people, including two-hundred-50 tourists and some 60 journalists, will travel to the border city via an overland route on Wednesday.

Tourists are scheduled to visit the Pak-yeon Waterfall and Gwan-eum Temple, as well as the Goryeo Museum before returning to the South later in the afternoon.

Hyundai Asan said the popularity of the new tour program is rising fast, with the reservation rate for the tour package surpassing 85 percent for December.
