The Gaesong Industrial Complex Business Council will open its office in the North Korean city on Thursday.

The Gaesong office will work with the complex’s management committee to assist companies operating in the industrial compound.

Meanwhile, Small and Medium Business Administrator head Lee Hyun-jae announced small and medium-sized companies launching operations in the North Korean compound will receive aid as they would have in the South beginning next year.
