The two Koreas will hold a seventh round of general-level military talks at the truce village of Panmunjeom from Wednesday.

The Defense Ministry said Monday the two sides will focus their two days of discussions on creating a joint fishing area in the West Sea.

The two sides will also discuss military guarantees on measures to simplify transportation, communication, and customs in the Gaesong Industrial Complex. They will also discuss similar arrangements for other jointly controlled inter-Korean economic cooperation zones.

The two Koreas are expected to reach agreement on transports, communication and customs in the joint economic cooperation areas as the two sides have already exchanged a related draft.
