North Korea has honored the mother of its leader with inscriptions on a rock atop Jangsu Peak in the North’s Gangwon Province.

The North’s Central Broadcasting Station reported that each letter in the inscriptions dedicated to Kim Jong-suk was ten meters wide and 17 meters high.

To commemorate the North Korean leader’s 65th birthday this year, Pyongyang carved praises for Kim Jong-il and his father, the late leader Kim Il-sung at mountain sites around the communist country. The inscriptions can be found at Mount Myohyang, Mount Baekdu, Mount Geumgang and Mount Suyang.
