North Korea will launch three-way negotiations with South Korea and Russia on linking Korean railroads to Russia’s Trans-Siberian Railway.

A Russian broadcaster says the Russian Federation's environment and technology minister officially confirmed Pyongyang's willingness at an economic cooperation meeting with Seoul.

The minister says he expects the link to generate massive economic benefits over the long term.

The three countries agreed to hold a tripartite railway meeting of experts and establish a logistics network connecting Busan of South Korea, Rajin of North Korea and Khasan of Russia.
