The Czech Republic says it will send all North Korean workers back home by next month.

Czech authorities say 134 North Koreans were working in the country as of the end of November. It added that new visa applications and extensions will be suspended so they can all return home by next month.

The measure comes amid allegations that the workers were being exploited and that their income was being diverted to the North Korean government.

The AFP predicted an end to the practice of North Koreans working for low pay in the central European country's factories.
