The two Koreas will hold their first meeting next week on the establishment of a special peace zone in the West Sea, as agreed at October's inter-Korean summit.

The Unification Ministry said Tuesday the two sides agreed earlier in the day to hold a two-day meeting from December 28th in the North Korean city of Gaesong.

Seoul and Pyongyang will mainly discuss the boundaries and access to a special peace zone near the North Korean city of Haeju, the joint use of the Han River estuary and shared fishing grounds in the West Sea.

Top presidential security aide Baek Jong-chun will reportedly lead the South Korean delegation.
