Defense ministry scoffs N.K.'s reasons for delaying reunion

The Defense Ministry scoffed at the reasons North Korea cited for delaying next week's family reunion, saying the heightened military alarm in the wake of terrorist attacks is the military's duty.
Ministry spokesman Hwang Eui-don said in a statement that it is the most basic duty of the military to protect the lives and property of the people and to protect the foreigners in the country from possible terrorist attacks.
