Three ginseng product manufacturers from South Korea are participating in the Natural Products Expo East, which opened Friday at the Washington Convention Center.
The Korea Ginseng Corporation, G&F (Ginseng & Food) and Korea Gaesung Ginseng Cooperative Association presented products including ginseng extracts, powders and pills as well as dried and steamed ginseng.
The event is sponsored by The Agricultural and Fishery Marketing Corporation.
An official from the company said.. in the opening day, about 1,000 prospective buyers and dealers visited the Korean companies' booth, and seven discussed business with them.
