Korea, Russia Vie for Right to Host Boxing World Cup

Korea and Russia are competing for the right to host a new amateur boxing world cup match.

The International Boxing Association (AIBA) said the two countries each made a bid to become the inaugural host city.

Each country will highlight its competitive edge as a host city at the AIBA executive committee meeting slated for February 17th in the South Korean city of Busan.

The boxing world cup will debut in December this year and be held every two years.
