The world's top minds in business, government, and academia gathered in Seoul Wednesday to take part in the World Knowledge Forum.
Participants in the three-day event will share views on diverse issues shaping the world, touching on subjects like knowledge and value creation, importance of leadership and tech technology and the role of education in sustained growth.
The forum organized by the Maeil Business Newspaper is also aimed at resolving the so-called knowledge divide between advanced countries and developing nations which continues to grow.
Organizers for the event said that five plenary sessions and more than 30 parallel sessions and special speeches will be given during the forum at the Marriott Hotel in Central City.
