North Korea said Tuesday it has received wheat that the Australian government donated via the World Food Program (WFP).
The (North) Korean Central Broadcasting Station said the Australian government has shipped wheat worth $2.5 million Australian dollars in humanitarian aid through the WFP, regarding our country's drought damage this year.
The radio station added that Australia has sent the North aid several times since 1997.
Pyongyang and Canberra established diplomatic ties in July 1974 but resumed relations in May of last year.
