Russian FM calls for 4-nation gas pipeline

Russian Foreign Minister Igor Ivanov has called for the construction of a cross-border gas pipeline linking Russia, Korea, China and Japan.
Ivanov said the gas pipeline will help stabilize energy supply in the Asia-Pacific region.
He made the remarks after attending a meeting of foreign ministers of Asia-Pacific countries held in Shanghai ahead of the APEC summit.
