Defense officials said Monday that the South Korean military will begin the 2001 Hwarang military exercise Tuesday to prepare for possible terrorist attacks in Seoul, Pusan, and other major urban areas.
The military said...focus will be placed on preparations against airplane hijacking, chemical or biological attack, and the bombing of major facilities.
Most of the exercises, which will last until Sunday, will be conducted at night to minimize inconvenience to citizens.
